Citywide Commercial taps powerhouse brokerage team to elevate its retail strategy
Citywide Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce it has expanded its retail reach with the strategic addition of the industry expert team of Matt Harper, CCIM, and Leah Motsinger.
Harper joins Citywide Commercial as Senior Vice President, bringing more than 15 years of real estate experience. A proven expert in retail leasing and sales, Harper also brings valuable knowledge in land, office, and industrial transactions. He successfully represented landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers, delivering a well-rounded, strategic approach to every deal while at his previous employer, NAI Horizon.
Motsinger joins Citywide Commercial as Senior Associate/Associate Broker, possessing an impressive 30 years of commercial real estate expertise, with deep roots in retail, industrial, and office sectors. Motsinger adds a standout background in property management, leasing, and portfolio oversight, and has built a reputation for delivering results for national brands including Starbucks, Pei Wei, and O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Harper specializes in retail leasing and sales, building lasting client relationships through trust, innovation, and responsiveness. Known for his strong work ethic and values-driven approach, Harper consistently delivers results that align with his clients’ evolving needs.
Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Harper worked in residential real estate and spent four years overseas as a school counselor for the Department of Defense Education Activity, serving military families in Japan and South Korea. Since returning to the U.S., he’s successfully completed hundreds of corporate transactions with the same commitment to excellence.
Harper earned the prestigious designation Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 2016. He served on the Central Arizona CCIM Chapter as Treasurer from 2018 to 2020. He obtained his Arizona real estate license in 2007.
Outside the office, Harper remains deeply connected to the game of hockey. A former Northern Arizona University club team player, he continues to stay active in the sport through coaching and officiating.
Motsinger brings nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in retail leasing and sales. She partnered with Harper at NAI Horizon to provide landlord and tenant representation, while also overseeing transaction management and cultivating new client relationships.
Her background spans both property management and brokerage, with deep expertise in managing and leasing retail, industrial, and office properties. Motsinger has held leadership roles with several prominent Valley firms, overseeing lease negotiations, property operations, financials, and acquisition due diligence for institutional and private clients.
Motsinger has completed thousands of lease transactions, working with notable brands like Starbucks, Pei Wei, Rubio’s, O’Reilly Auto Parts, The UPS Store, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and Pita Jungle.
In 1997, she obtained her Arizona School of Real Estate Arizona real estate salesperson license; in November 2023, she earned her AZ real estate broker license.
